If you go down to Raviwar Peth in Pune, you’ll find us right near Shivanjali Chowck. The address is 42/A, and it’s right in the middle of all the action of the old city. This part of Pune is famous for being incredibly busy, with narrow streets and tons of shops selling everything you can think of. We deal with Ispat, which is steel, so there’s always a lot of heavy lifting and moving stuff around in the shop. Our office is in an old building that has been there forever. It’s often quite loud because of the traffic outside and the sound of steel being moved, but you get used to it after a few days. We don't have any fancy air conditioning in the main area, just some old ceiling fans that hum all day long and don't do much in the summer. My family has been involved in this kind of work for a long time at Shre Bhimeshwari Ispat Pvt. Ltd., so we know most of the other business owners on the street. It’s the kind of place where you can just walk out and get a good vada pav or a chai within two minutes. We don't have a polished corporate image or anything like that. We just focus on managing the inventory and making sure the trucks get loaded correctly. It’s a bit chaotic at times, especially when two trucks show up at once.
