Shivshakti Enterprises

Our office is over at Raja Ram Apartment, room 103, on South Main Road in Koregaon Park. It is a busy area with lots of cafes and shops nearby, so there is always something going on outside the window. Shivshakti Enterprises is a small operation. We use the apartment space to handle all our administrative work and client meetings. It is a bit cramped when more than three people are in there at the same time, but we make it work. We have a couple of desks, a printer that jams way too often, and stacks of files that we keep meaning to organize better. Most of our work involves sourcing materials and talking to suppliers on the phone all day. It is a lot of back-and-forth, trying to get the right price and making sure things are delivered to the right places. Sometimes we have to go out and meet people across town, so the office sits empty for a few hours while we are stuck in traffic. We do not have a receptionist or anything like that. If the phone rings and we are not there, we just call the person back later. It is a very informal way of doing business, but our clients do not seem to mind at all. We have been in Koregaon Park for a while now and we like the vibe of the place. We just focus on getting the tasks done. (254 words)
