Shivshakti Dining Hall

At Shivshakti Dining Hall, we mostly focus on getting the food out on time. We are located at Dhanakawadi 5th Cross, specifically Chokkasandra 30/2. It’s a busy kitchen and we start early in the morning. There is always a lot of chopping and cleaning to do before the first person walks through the door. We aren’t trying to be a five-star place. We just want to make sure people have a seat and a meal that tastes like something. The tables are basic and we keep them wiped down. You can hear the pots clanging in the back most of the time. Dhanakawadi is a place where people work hard, so they come in hungry. We see a lot of the same workers every single day for lunch. Sometimes we run out of certain things by the afternoon, but we do what we can. The 5th Cross area gets pretty congested, so we see a lot of people just trying to get out of the traffic for a bit. We don't have any fancy decorations on the walls. It’s just a dining hall where we do our work. We’ve been at this address for a good while and the neighbors know us. It’s a lot of manual labor, standing on our feet all day, but it’s what we know how to do. We just keep the stoves going and the plates moving from morning until we close up late at night.
