Shivrudra Services

Our little spot is over at S 10 Bhosari, right on Street Number 2. Shivrudra Services is mostly about helping people out with their technical needs and repairs. We aren’t a giant corporation with thousands of employees. It’s just a small team of us who know how to fix things. We started out doing small jobs for the neighbors and it just grew from there. The shop is usually full of parts and tools that have been pulled out for whatever job we are working on that day. Sometimes it feels like there isn't enough space for all the work we want to do. People bring us things that stopped working and ask us to take a look. We don't always have an immediate answer, but we'll sit there and poke at it until we figure out what's wrong. It’s a lot of trial and error sometimes. We like the challenge of a difficult repair. The street outside is usually quiet compared to the main roads, which we like. We can focus on the work without too much noise. We don’t spend money on fancy signs or anything like that. We figure if we do a decent job, people will tell their friends, and that's been working out okay for us so far. It’s a modest living but it’s ours. We show up every day, drink some tea, and get to work on whatever is sitting on the bench waiting for us.
