Shivam Mahaila Griha Udyog

We are a small griha udyog based in Yamuna Nagar. Our place is on C P Tank Road. It is not a large factory, but more like a collective workspace where we make various items by hand. We started this because we wanted to have something of our own. It’s a very local operation. Most of us live right here in the neighborhood. We don't have a marketing team or any experts telling us how to run things. We just figure it out as we go. The atmosphere is usually quite friendly because we all know each other so well. We make products that people use in their homes every day. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded when we have a lot of materials delivered, but we manage. Yamuna Nagar is a quiet place for the most part, so it’s a good environment for the kind of work we do. We don't spend money on commercials or big signs. People usually find out about us through word of mouth. If someone likes what we make, they tell their neighbor, and that’s how we grow. It’s a slow process but it feels right. We take pride in the fact that we do everything ourselves. Sometimes the work is repetitive, but we enjoy the company. It’s a simple way to stay productive and help our families. We just keep our heads down and keep working.
