Finding our place is a bit different because we are on the first floor of Rahul Apartments, at 35 B. It’s not your typical factory or industrial setting. It’s a residential-looking building but we have our metal work setup inside one of the units. You can hear the sound of metal being worked on from the hallway sometimes when we are busy. We try to keep the noise down during the odd hours so we don't bother the families living nearby too much. The space is filled with tools, welding equipment, and pieces of sheet metal leaning against the walls. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze, especially when we have a large project going on that takes up the middle of the room. We do a lot of custom work, mostly things people can’t just buy in a regular store. My brother and I run most of the operations here. We learned the trade from our father who did this for years. The floor is concrete and usually covered in a bit of metal dust, no matter how much we sweep at the end of the day. We have a small table where we sit to eat our lunch and talk about what needs to be finished. We don't have a website or anything like that. People just hear about us from other folks in the area. If you need something made out of metal, you just come up the stairs and knock on the door. We’re usually there.
