At Shiv Meher Kitchen Interiors Pvt Ltd, we spend our time thinking about cabinets and counters. Our place is at 28550 Kothrud, right near the telephone exchange. It’s a part of town that never seems to sleep, which keeps us on our toes. We aren't fancy designers with big portfolios. We’re just people who like working with our hands. Usually, the floor is covered in wood shavings and there’s a thick layer of dust on the shelves. That’s how you know we’re actually working. We have a small office where we sit with customers to draw out plans on paper. It’s a lot of back and forth about where the stove should go or how much space is left for the fridge. Kothrud has changed so much lately, with new buildings going up everywhere, so we stay pretty busy. We’ve been here for years and we know the area well. Most of the guys working here have been with us since the start. We’re like a small family, honestly. We don't have a big polished showroom with bright lights. We just show people what we can do with the tools we have. Sometimes things get a bit chaotic when we have multiple projects going on at once, but we always manage to get through it. It’s a lot of hard work, but seeing a finished kitchen is a good feeling. It's just a regular local business doing its thing.
