Foseco India Ltd.

We operate out of Gat Nos. 922 and 923 in Sanaswadi. This part of Pune is full of factories and we are right in the middle of it. Foseco India has been at this location for a good number of years. It’s a large site with several different sections for different parts of our production. We deal with foundry stuff, which means it’s often hot and sweaty work. The staff here is used to the heat and the smell of the materials we use. We have a lot of trucks coming in and out every day, so the gate area is always busy. The offices are a bit separate from the main production floor so the noise doesn't get too bad for the people doing the books. We don't go in for fancy slogans or big corporate speeches. We just focus on making sure the batches are right before they go out the door. Some of our guys have been working at this Sanaswadi plant for twenty years or more. They know the machines better than anyone. We have a canteen where everyone eats together, which is nice. It’s a hard-working atmosphere and we don't have much time for anything else. We stay busy with the orders and try to keep the equipment running smooth. It’s a big operation but it feels like a small community once you’re inside. The work isn't always easy, but we have a steady routine that keeps things moving.
