Sheetal Refreshment

Sheetal Refreshment is right in the middle of Pimpri. If you know the area, you know how busy it gets with the markets and all the shoppers. We opened this place because there weren't enough spots to just sit for a minute and have a cold drink or a snack. The shop isn't fancy at all. We have some glass cases where we keep the food items and a big fridge for the bottles. It gets really loud outside with the honking and people shouting in the market. I usually stand behind the counter and watch the street while I work. We get all sorts of people, from students to grandmothers out doing their shopping. My son helps out after his classes. We don't have a lot of room for storage so we get fresh stuff delivered every single morning. The tiles on the floor are a bit chipped in the corner but we keep them scrubbed. Pimpri is a place that never really sleeps, so we stay open quite late most nights. Sometimes I get tired of the noise, but then a regular customer comes in and we chat for a bit and it’s fine. We don't use any fancy machines, just what we need to get the job done. It’s just a normal refreshment stall for normal people who need a break from the sun. I’ve been working here for ten years and the street has changed a lot but we are still here.
