Sheetal Refreshment Hotel

Sheetal Refreshment Hotel sits along the 100 Ft Satellite Road in the Prahladnagar area of Chinchwad. It is a wide, busy road and we get a lot of people stopping their bikes or cars for a quick break. The shop is mostly open to the front, so you can see everything that is going on inside. We have a few tables where people sit to drink their tea or have a small snack. The walls are covered in plain tiles that are easy to wash, and we have a big mirror on one side that makes the place look a bit larger than it really is. We start the day by cleaning the tea vessels and setting out the jars of biscuits. There is a lot of dust from the 100 Ft Road, so we are constantly wiping the tables with a damp cloth. The staff is just a few of us and we know most of the people who stop by regularly. It isn't a place where people stay for a long time, just long enough to finish a cup of tea and maybe talk for a few minutes. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to use candles, but we keep serving anyway. The floor is just simple cement and the chairs are the cheap plastic kind. We don't have any fancy signs or advertisements, just the name of the place and the daily routine of serving refreshments to anyone who stops by.
