Sharda Time

Sharda Time is right on the ground floor of Survey No 842. We are situated on Laxmi Road, which is a very well-known part of Budhwar Peth. If you are looking for us, we are right opposite the Gita Vihar Hotel. Being near the City Post Office helps people find the way too. It’s a busy street with people walking by at all hours of the day. Our shop isn't a very big place, but being on the ground floor makes it easy for anyone to just step inside. We have been here for a long time. The building is old, like most things in this part of Pune. Laxmi Road is always full of shoppers and traffic. Sometimes it’s hard to hear yourself think with all the honking outside. We keep our space simple. There are shelves and a counter where we do our work. We don't have fancy air conditioning, just a couple of fans that keep the air moving. It gets hot in the summer, but we are used to it. People stop in while they are out shopping for other things. We know many of the other shopkeepers around here. It feels like a small community even though it’s a big city. Sharda Time has stayed in this same spot for years. We open up the shutters every morning and stay until the evening rush starts to slow down. It’s a honest living and we like being part of Budhwar Peth. We’ve seen it all before.
