There isn’t much to say about a small place like ours in Bhosari. We have been here for a long time, just at the same corner. Sharda Paan Shop is basically a wooden cabin with some shelves and a small counter. I spend my whole day sitting there, folding leaves and mixing the ingredients. It’s a simple routine. In Bhosari, people are always working, so they stop by for a break. We see the same truck drivers and factory workers every evening. The shop is covered in small jars and packets. It’s a bit cramped inside, but I have everything within arm's reach. I don't really have a staff, just me mostly. Sometimes my son comes by to sit for a few hours. We stay open late because that’s when most people want a paan. The street lights outside flickers sometimes, but we don't mind. It's just a part of being here. We don't use any fancy machines, just my hands and a small knife. People talk about their day while I work. I hear a lot of stories from the neighborhood. It's not a big business. Just a way to get by. We don't have a sign that lights up or anything like that. People just know where we are. It’s a quiet life on this side of town. I guess we will be here for many more years if things stay the same.
