Shanai Engineers

Our shop is tucked away at 41635 in Chinchwad, specifically in the Oshiwara section. The easiest way to find us is to look behind the big Thermax Ltd facility. It’s a landmark that everyone knows, which helps because our own spot is a bit more hidden. The road back here isn't the smoothest, and it gets some deep puddles when the monsoon hits. Shanai Engineers is just a basic building, nothing that would catch your eye from the main road. Inside, it’s mostly open space with a concrete floor that’s got plenty of cracks and stains from over the years. We have our equipment set up in a way that makes sense to us, even if it looks a bit disorganized to anyone else. There’s a small area where we keep the books and take some calls, but we aren't in there much. Most of the time we are out on the floor dealing with the actual work. The neighbors are mostly other small workshops, so there is a constant hum of engines and tools throughout the day. We don't have any big corporate signs or a website that we update. We just go by the name on the door and the reputation we’ve built up with the people around here. It’s a bit dusty and the lighting could be better, but it’s where we’ve been for years and it suits us just fine. Sometimes we wonder about painting the walls, but then we just get back to work.
