You can find us in Bhosari, over at Plot 185 in the Nisargha Colony area. We are tucked away in Room Number 3 of the building there. It is a proper industrial neighborhood in Pune, so the sound of machines and the smell of grease are just part of the everyday routine. We are a small engineering outfit. Our workshop isn’t very big, so we have to stay organized to make sure we have space to move around. We work on various parts and pieces, doing the kind of manual labor that keeps other machines running. It is often loud and the floor usually has some metal shavings on it. We don’t have a receptionist or a big lobby; usually, someone just wipes their hands on a rag and comes over to talk when someone walks in. We deal with local suppliers for our raw materials and try to keep things moving along. Sometimes an order takes a bit longer if a machine acts up, but we usually get it sorted eventually. The Indrayani Nagar area is always full of activity, and we are just one of the many small shops contributing to that. We prefer it this way, keeping things simple and focusing on the work right in front of us. It is not a glamorous job, but it is what we know how to do well. Most of our days are spent with our heads down, focusing on the mechanical details.
