Shama Spring Industries

Shama Spring Industries is tucked away in the Kamat Industrial Complex over in Warje Malwadi. We are on the ground floor at G-20, which makes it easier for loading and unloading heavy stuff. Being in Bhosarigoan near the Ganpati Matta area means it’s always got that industrial feel with machines running and people moving about. We’ve got Hotel Sai Palace nearby, so that’s a good landmark if you’re looking for us. Most of our days are spent around the spring-making machines. It gets noisy, but you get used to it after a few years. We aren't big on fancy titles or anything. We just make the springs people need and try to keep things organized on the floor. The workshop floor always has that smell of metal and oil. It’s a practical space. We don't have a big reception area or anything like that, just the workbench and the tools we use every day. If you come by, you’ll probably find us mid-work with grease on our hands. We’ve been here long enough that the neighbors know us by name. It’s a tight-knit spot in the complex. Sometimes we have tea outside when it’s not too busy. We just keep our heads down and do the work. It’s honest work, making parts that go into bigger machines. Nothing more, nothing less. If you find the ground floor of the complex near the ground, you’ve found us. We like the pace of things here.
