Seth Ramdas Shah Memorial Hospital & Research Center is tucked away in Kasba Peth. If you know where the Saat Toti Police Station is, then you are basically there. We are in Room No. - 203, which isn't huge, but it's where we do our things. Kasba Pethn is one of those older parts of town where the lanes are narrow and everyone knows their neighbors. The corporation building is nearby too, so there is always some local activity going on. It can be a bit tricky to find the first time if you aren't looking closely for the sign. We have researchers and staff coming in and out of the room throughout the day. It’s not a shiny new glass building or anything like that. It’s just a regular office setup in an old neighborhood. Sometimes the noise from the police station or the street filters in, but we are used to it by now. People stop by to ask questions or drop off papers. We keep our files organized as best as we can in the limited space we have. Kasba Pethn has a certain feel to it, very traditional and lived-in. Working in Room 203 means being part of that daily rhythm. It’s quiet inside compared to the street, but there is always a sense of purpose. We don't have fancy lobbies, just chairs and desks and people focused on their projects near the corporation area.
