Our place is out at Gat No 582 on the Pune Nagar Road. If you know Koregaon Bhima in the Tal. Shirur area, then you know it’s a bit of a drive from the main city. Seco Tools India (P) Ltd is what the sign says out front. It’s a big spot because we need the room. Being on the highway means we see a lot of trucks and dust. The wind blows across the road and carries all that red dirt inside if we leave the big doors open. It’s mostly just a lot of metal and shipping crates inside. We have a team here that’s been together for a good bit of time. We aren't really into the fancy office culture. Most of us are wearing work boots and just getting through the shift. The weather out here in Shirur can be tough, either too dry or too rainy. But the work at Gat No 582 doesn't stop. We deal with tools, mostly for industrial stuff. It’s heavy work. We have a small area for lunch where we all sit around and talk about whatever is on the news. It’s a pretty normal way to spend a day. We don't try to sound like a big global corporation, even if the name sounds like one. We’re just the crew working the floor on Pune Nagar Road. It’s simple, it’s noisy, and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday.
