Searoke Tiles

If you find yourself in Junnar, specifically around Raviwar Peth, you'll see Searoke Tiles at number 217. We’ve been here for a good while. The shop isn't huge, but we pack it full of tiles. It gets a bit cramped when a new delivery arrives. We carry all sorts of styles, mostly for floors and walls. People from around the village and nearby areas come in when they’re building a new house or fixing an old one. It’s dusty work, moving heavy crates around all day. My back definitely feels it by the evening. We don’t have a fancy showroom with lights and mirrors. It's more of a warehouse feel where you can actually see the stock. We talk to contractors and homeowners, trying to help them figure out how many boxes they actually need. Often they guess wrong and have to come back for two more pieces. That’s just part of it. We keep track of everything in a big ledger book. Computers are fine, but paper doesn't crash as much. Junnar is a nice place to work, even if the traffic in Raviwar Peth gets stuck sometimes. We’re just local people selling tiles to our neighbors. It’s straightforward. No big sales pitches here, just look at what we have and decide if you like it. We try to keep things fair so people come back. It's a living.
