Our unit is located at Sr No 36 in the Gandhi Bhavan Industrial Estate over in Kothrud. If you know Pune, you know Kothrud is a busy area, but this industrial pocket has its own vibe. It’s mostly warehouses and small factories around here. We work on food products, though it’s more about the technical side of processing. The building isn't much to look at from the outside, just a standard industrial shed like all the others on this street. Inside, we have our equipment set up and we spend the day running batches. There’s a lot of clock-watching and checking temperatures. It’s repetitive work, but it’s what we do. We don't spend money on fancy signs or marketing stuff because we don't really see the point. Most of our time is spent making sure the machines don't break down and the orders are packed right. The tea break is usually the highlight of the afternoon when we can sit outside for a minute away from the noise. It gets pretty loud when everything is running at once. We’ve got a small team, and we all know our roles pretty well. We aren't making anything world-changing, just consistent food items that people use. It’s a lot of manual work, lifting bags and moving pallets. By the time we lock up in the evening, we are usually pretty tired, but that’s just how the food industry goes in a place like Kothrud. It’s decent, steady work.
