Sbem Pvt Ltd is located on the Pune Satara Road in Pune, which is one of the busiest stretches of road in the city. If you’ve ever sat in the traffic there, you know exactly where we are located. Our building is a bit of an older structure, but it serves us well for what we do every day. We spend our time working on industrial instruments and measurement tools. It’s the kind of work that requires a lot of patience and steady hands. The office part is separate from the manufacturing floor, but the sound of the machines still travels through the walls easily. We have a small canteen where we all gather for tea and some snacks in the afternoon, which is usually the best part of the day for everyone. Pune weather can be unpredictable, so we are always keeping an eye on the clouds during the monsoon season to see if it will pour. We aren't interested in sounding like a big multinational corporation with polished mission statements. We are just a group of people in Maharashtra trying to make equipment that works the way it is supposed to. Sometimes the supply chain causes headaches or a machine breaks down, and we just have to figure it out as we go. The Pune Satara Road has grown so much over the years, with new shops and buildings popping up constantly, but we just stay focused on our work.
