We are based in Pune, over in the Bombay Sappers Colony in the Yerwada area. Our office is actually Flat No. 201 in the Sahil Manor building, which is part of Survey No 46/4. It is a quiet residential neighborhood, so it does not feel like a typical business district at all. From here, we handle things related to iron and steel, mostly acting as a point of contact and coordination for the larger company. We do not have any heavy machinery or large warehouses at this address; it is just a small, quiet space where we manage the paperwork and phone calls. There are only a few of us working here, so it is a very relaxed atmosphere. We have a small kitchen where we make tea and sometimes share snacks during the afternoon. The office is quite bright because of the large windows, and we can see the trees in the colony from our desks. We do not have any fancy brochures or big signs outside. We just have our computers and a few samples of steel sections sitting on the shelves. Most of our day is spent talking to suppliers or checking on delivery schedules. It is a very practical and straightforward job. We do not try to make it sound more complicated than it is. We just make sure the steel gets where it is supposed to go and that all the documents are in order for our clients.
