Satish Vegetable Food

Our place, Satish Vegetable Food, is over at Viman Nagar Shankar Tekri Dandia Bazar Vadodara Sr No 43-3, Padale Nivas. It is a bit of a long address but we are basically just a vegetable spot in the Padale Nivas building. Every morning we get the fresh produce in and start the process of cleaning and sorting it all out. It is a lot of physical work, lifting heavy bags and moving crates around the floor. The air usually smells like damp earth and fresh greens. We don't have any big fancy displays, just the usual wooden bins and plastic crates that hold the onions, potatoes, and whatever else is in season. Customers from the Viman Nagar area come by throughout the day. Some are very picky about their tomatoes while others just grab what is on top. We spend a lot of time weighing things and counting out change. The shop can get quite warm in the afternoons, so we try to keep the vegetables misted with a bit of water. It is a simple life of buying and selling food. We don't have a website or any big advertisements. People just know we are here at Shankar Tekri. We start early and by the time evening rolls around, we are usually pretty tired and ready to go home. It is just a regular local business run by regular people.
