Satish Nivalkat

Satish Nivalkar is the one who started things here at Ankita Apartments. We are in B-2, F-22, in the Hingane Khurd area, which is right off Sinhgad Road in Pune. Anyone who lives in this part of Pune knows that Sinhgad Road is famous for its traffic, so we usually try to stay put once we get into the office in the morning. The apartment is where we do all our business, and it is filled with piles of papers and different computers that we use for our work. It is a very humble setup, just like the neighborhood itself. We have been in Hingane for a while, and it is a good place to be because everything you need is right nearby. The building is quiet enough during the day when most people are out at work, so we can focus on what we are doing. We aren't a big corporation with fancy titles; we just go by our names and do the work that needs doing. Sometimes the doorbell rings and it's just a neighbor or a delivery, and we take a minute to chat. It is a very human way of working. We don't have a mission statement or anything like that, we just want to do a good job so we can keep the lights on and come back again tomorrow. It is just us, working from a small flat in a busy part of Pune.
