Santron

Our small space is located in the Athwa Arcade, specifically shops nine and ten. It is right in Indrayani Nagar, a part of town that has gotten much busier lately. The address on paper says five-eighty slash two-A slash one, which sounds complicated but we are easy to find once you are in the arcade. Most days, the workbench is a bit of a mess with wires, tools, and different components scattered around. We spend a lot of time looking through manuals or trying to figure out why a certain piece of equipment isn't doing what it should. It’s not a quiet office; there is usually the sound of a soldering iron heating up or some machine running in the background. People stop by mostly because they have something that stopped working or they need a specific part for their own projects. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us who know how to handle the technical side of things. The morning tea usually goes cold because someone walks in with a question right when we sit down. The shelves are packed with boxes that we’ve labeled by hand, and sometimes it takes a minute to find the right one. It’s just how we run things here at Santron. We like the work, even when it’s frustrating and things don’t click into place immediately. The floor needs a good sweep more often than it gets one, but that’s just how a working shop looks.
