Santosh Khandelwal is located at 938/3 Raviwar Peth. This is the old part of town, so you can imagine the narrow streets and the way everyone is packed in. We are on the ground floor, right opposite the Dagdi Nagoba Mandir. You can hear the bells from the temple throughout the day, especially in the mornings and evenings. It is a very busy spot. On 6th Main in Ganganagar, there is always someone moving something or a cart passing by. The building is old, like most things in this area, and it has that specific feel of Raviwar Peth. I keep the doors open mostly to let some air in, though it brings in the noise from the street too. The floors are stone and they stay cool even when it is hot outside. I have got a lot of stuff piled up usually, just the way things go when you have been in one place for years. People come in and out all day long. Some are just looking for directions because they got lost in the Peth lanes. I don't mind. It is a community here and everyone knows everyone else’s business. My shop is just a small part of this big, messy neighborhood. It is not fancy, but it has been here a long time and it works for us. We just keep our heads down and do the daily work.
