Santosh D Bade

Santosh D Bade is located right in the heart of Kothrud at Keshav Kunj. If you know where Janseva Bank is, we are right opposite that. Being near Kothrud Depot means there is always a lot of activity outside our door. The buses coming and going make for a lot of noise but we have gotten used to it over the years. We are at number 10 and it’s a modest setup. There isn't any fancy decor or expensive lighting here. We have a few old desks and some filing cabinets that have seen better days. My family has been around this area for a long time so we know most of the shopkeepers on this stretch. We open up early in the morning before the traffic really peaks. It is a very practical space. We don't spend money on big advertisements or anything like that. People mostly find us because they live nearby or they’ve seen the sign while waiting for a bus. The office feels lived-in and comfortable for us. Sometimes it gets a bit cramped when we have visitors, but we make it work with a few extra stools. We handle everything ourselves from cleaning the desks to answering the phone. It’s a simple way to run things and it keeps us grounded. Kothrud is a busy place but our little spot in Keshav Kunj feels like our own small world.
