Sant Krupa Provision Stores

Sant Krupa Provision Stores is located right in the Mosadiq Complex, Phase I, over in Hadapsar. We are tucked away near the 8th Cross, so it’s a bit of a walk from the main road, but the people living in the complex find us easily enough. The shop is usually quiet in the mid-morning, which gives me time to count the stock and clean the glass jars. We’ve got all the basic provisions, mostly grains and pulses and the usual household things. It gets quite busy once the sun starts going down and people return from their jobs. Hadapsar is always growing, and you can see new buildings popping up everywhere, but our little corner feels the same as it always has. The B 14 lane is where most of our regulars come from. Sometimes the kids from the complex run in to get sweets or a cold drink, and they can be quite a handful. We don't have fancy displays or anything like that. It's just shelves piled high with stuff people actually use every day. Sometimes the rain gets heavy and the water pools up near the entrance, but we just put down some gunny bags and keep going. It’s a steady kind of life, seeing the same faces and making sure we have what they need for their dinner. We've been here for years and we know how the neighborhood works, so we just keep things simple.
