Sanjay Morya Pan Stall

Sanjay Morya Pan Stall is just a small, simple spot here in Pimple Saudagar. If you are walking down the main street, you have probably seen our stall. It is not much to look at, just a wooden structure with all our jars and leaves kept within reach. We spend most of our day preparing the leaves and getting the mixtures ready. Pimple Saudagar has grown a lot since we first set up, with new buildings and apartments coming up everywhere, but we are still here doing the same thing every day. The traffic goes by constantly, and we get people stopping for just a minute or two before they head back to their commute. It is a lot of repetitive work, folding and mixing the same way every time, but you get used to the rhythm. The smell of the tobacco and the betel nut is always around the stall. We don't have a big team or anything, just enough people to keep the stall open through the day and late into the night. Sometimes we stay open quite late if there are still people walking around. It is a simple way to make a living. We know most of the people who live nearby, and they know where to find us. There isn’t any fancy marketing or big plans. Just the stall, the ingredients, and us sitting here ready to work. Some days are slow when the rain is heavy, but usually, someone stops by.
