Budhwar Peth is one of those places that feels like history is piled up on every corner. My name is Sanjay Kulkarni, and I run my business from Fatehpur, right in the heart of the 411002 area. The lanes here are very narrow. Sometimes you can barely fit a small car through without scraping something. I’ve been in this spot for a long time. People around here know me. It’s a bit cramped inside, with papers and folders everywhere. I don’t believe in keeping a perfectly tidy desk. If I can find what I need, that’s enough. The building is old, and the stairs creak when you walk up them. In the afternoons, the sun hits the front window and makes it hard to see the screen. I just pull the curtain and keep working. It’s mostly just me here, or maybe one other person helping out. We don't have a receptionist or a coffee machine. If you want tea, we just order it from the guy at the corner. He brings it in those little glass cups. Budhwar Peth is loud, with people shouting and bells ringing from the nearby temples. You get used to the chaos. I don't have a website or a big sign outside. The address in Fatehpur is enough for people to find me. It’s just honest work. I don't try to make it sound like more than it is.
