Sandeep Phalke

I am Sandeep Phalke and I work out of Sn-103 in Yerwada. This part of the city is always moving and there is a lot of energy on the streets. My workspace is just a modest room where I take care of my daily business. I have been in Yerwada for a long time and I don't see myself moving anywhere else. The room has just the essentials, like a desk, a few chairs, and my files. I handle various tasks for local residents and sometimes for small businesses nearby. The traffic outside is quite loud, especially during the morning rush, but I have gotten used to it over the years. I usually keep the door open to let some air in, and people often just poke their heads in to say hello. I don't have any staff helping me, so if I am out on an errand, I just lock the door and put up a small note. Most of my work involves a lot of talking and writing things down by hand. I find that people prefer it that way. It feels more personal. I have a small stove in the corner for making tea, which I do several times a day. Yerwada has changed a lot since I first started, with more buildings coming up, but my little corner stays pretty much the same. It is a good place to be. It is just me here most of the time, and I like the quiet evenings.
