At Shivansh Engineering, we spend most of our time at Unit 2, Gat No. 882/1/3-A. We are tucked away behind the Nisarg Hotel on Nagar Road in Sanaswadi. It’s one of those spots that’s easy to miss if you aren’t looking for it, especially since you have to go behind the hotel twice to find the right gate. The workshop is usually full of the loud sound of machines and metal being cut. We aren't a big factory, just a focused engineering unit doing our daily tasks for the local clients. The air smells like oil and burnt metal most afternoons. Sanaswadi is a busy industrial hub, so there is always a lot of traffic on Nagar Road outside. We just stick to our unit and try to get the orders done on time. It’s not a polished environment at all. There are metal scraps in the corner and tools spread across the benches. We don’t have a big marketing team or anyone in a fancy suit. It’s just us and our machines doing the heavy lifting. We take our lunch breaks when we can, often just sitting near the entrance of the unit to get some air. Being behind the Nisarg Hotel means we can always smell the food, which makes us hungry before it's even noon. We’ve been at this address for a while and have seen many shops come and go. We just focus on what’s in front of us. It is hard work but it is what we know.
