About Sana Furniture & Interior Decorator – Furniture in Pune
Sana Furniture & Interior Decorator is based at 3-D/2 in Pimpri Channi Jakatnaka. We are right opposite the Roplas Company, which is a big landmark in this part of town. The workshop is a straightforward space where we handle all kinds of furniture work and interior planning. It is a bit of an older building, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint. We spend our mornings looking at drawings and our afternoons actually putting things together. There are always piles of sawdust on the floor and scraps of fabric from when we do upholstery. It is not a silent place; there is always hammering or the sound of a drill going. We have a few benches where we work on the finer details of cabinets or bed frames. The traffic outside the Jakatnaka can be quite loud, especially during the rush hour. We aren't trying to be some high-end boutique. We just take the materials we have and try to make solid pieces that will last. Sometimes the supply of timber is late, and we have to shuffle our schedule around. The shop floor is uneven in some places, so we have to use shims under the furniture we are building to keep it level while we work. We have a small cat that hangs around the entrance and sleeps on the sawdust. My son helps out on the weekends. We don't really have a set closing time; we just stay until the job is done.
