Sams Systems is right here in Shaniwar Peth at 508/A. If you’ve spent any time in this part of Pune, you know how the narrow streets can be. It’s full of old houses and small shops. We work with computer systems in a space that’s been here for quite a while. The walls are a bit plain and we have cables hanging from hooks on the side. It’s a practical setup for fixing hardware and putting together systems for people who need them. We aren't a big retail store with bright lights. Most of the time, the place is filled with the sound of cooling fans and clicking keyboards. We have a lot of regular customers who live in the Peth area. They bring in their laptops when they won't turn on or need an upgrade. Shaniwar Peth has a certain rhythm to it. The mornings are slow, and the evenings get really crowded with people walking and bikes everywhere. We keep our tools on a wooden table that’s seen better days. There’s a stack of old motherboards in the corner that we use for spare parts. We don't have a big sign out front, just the name Sams Systems on a board. It’s a quiet life of technical work and talking to neighbors. We usually take a break in the afternoon when it gets too quiet. It’s just an honest way to earn a living in a historic part of the city. We keep things simple and focus on the hardware.
