Samrat General Stores

Samrat General Stores is located in Budhwar Peth, near Siddheswar Nagar in Tingrenagar, at number 1131. Our shop is one of those places where we try to fit as much as possible onto the shelves. We have everything from soap and shampoo to bags of rice and lentils. It is a bit of a maze inside. We have been serving the people around here for a long time. Children come in for snacks after school and their parents come in later for the kitchen supplies. We don't have a computer system for everything; a lot of it is still done with a pen and a notebook. The shop can get quite dusty because of the road outside. We spend a lot of time cleaning the glass jars. We don't have a big team. It is mostly family running the place. We don't have any grand plans to expand. We just like being the local spot where people can grab what they forgot at the big market. Sometimes we run out of things and have to wait for the next delivery truck. It is just a normal neighborhood store. We hear all the local gossip and know who is moving in or out. It is a busy life but we wouldn't know what else to do. We just open the shutters every morning and wait for the first customer.
