Samarth Mobiles

If you walk down Viman Nagar Atlardra Road, you will find Samarth Mobiles right there among the other shops. It’s a busy stretch of road and there is always someone honking their horn outside. I start my day by wiping down the glass counters where the new handsets and the chargers are kept. The shop is small and the overhead lights are a bit bright, but it helps when I’m trying to look at the tiny bits inside a broken phone. Viman Nagar is a fast place, so people are always dropping their devices or losing their cables and they come in looking for a quick fix. I keep a bunch of different screen guards in the drawers and half my day is just peeling those plastic layers off and trying to get them on straight without any bubbles. Sometimes it’s frustrating when the dust gets under the glass, but I just try again. My chair is a bit squeaky and I’ve been meaning to oil it for months now, but I always forget once the customers start coming in. The street noise is constant, and you can hear the planes from the airport every now and then which is just part of living and working in this part of town. It’s a practical little shop and we don’t try to make it look like something it isn't. We just stay open until late evening so people can stop by after they finish their shifts.
