Our office is basically an apartment that we converted so we could have a dedicated space to work together. It’s usually pretty quiet inside, which helps us focus on the technical work we do every day. We aren't a massive organization with branches everywhere. It’s just a handful of us sitting at our desks and trying to figure out the best way to handle our projects. We’ve been in this building for some time and have gotten to know the security guards and the other people living in the complex. Working from an apartment means we have a kitchen and a bit of a living area, which makes the long hours a lot more bearable for everyone. We don't have a lot of corporate rules; we just expect everyone to do their part and be honest about things. We’ve had some tough weeks where nothing seemed to go right, but we usually figure it out over a few cups of coffee. It’s a simple business run by people who just enjoy what they do. We don't need a lot of bells and whistles to stay productive and keep things going.
