Sainath Provision

Our small grocery shop is in Pimpri, right near Loksangam Vihar. It's on the New Medi Point Hsp Road, which stays pretty active throughout the day. We keep the basic stuff people need for their kitchens like rice, dal, and cooking oil. The shelves are packed with biscuits and soaps too. It’s not a supermarket, just a regular provision store where neighbors stop by. Sometimes the delivery trucks block the front for a bit while we unload sacks of flour. It can get dusty being so close to the main road. I usually open up early in the morning before the sun gets too hot. People often come in just to grab one thing they forgot for dinner. We know most of the faces around here since they live in the nearby buildings. The floor is a bit worn out from all the walking, and the lights flicker every now and then. We don't spend money on fancy decorations or signs. It's just about having the essentials ready. My kids sometimes hang out in the back after school. We keep a ledger for the regulars who pay at the end of the month. It's a lot of manual work, lifting heavy bags and counting change. But that's just how it is running a local shop like this one. We try to keep the stock fresh, but sometimes things sit for a while. It’s just us doing our daily work.
