Sai Fabricators

Sai Fabricators is out on Satara Road. We are in Samarth Niwas, which is in the Mangdewadi area of Katraj. You can find us pretty easily because we are near the Poonam Petrol Pump. That petrol pump is a big landmark for everyone around here. Working in fabrication means there is always the sound of metal hitting metal. We have saws, welding machines, and a lot of raw steel lying around the yard. It is a dirty job and we usually end up covered in soot by midday. Satara Road is a very heavy traffic zone. There are always big trucks and buses roaring past, kicking up dust. We have been in Mangdewadi for a while. The shop is basically a large shed that stays open to the air so it doesn't get too hot from the welding sparks. We have a small office corner with a desk that is perpetually covered in drawings and measurements. It is a tough line of work, but it is what we know. We deal with a lot of people from the nearby construction sites. They need things made or repaired quickly. We just do our best to keep up with the demand. It is a noisy, busy place but that is just the nature of Katraj. We usually close up once the sun goes down and the traffic starts to thin out a little bit.
