We’ve got our little shop, Sai Communication, over in Chandan Nagar 4. It’s not a huge place, but we’ve managed to fit all our stock and equipment inside. Most people who live in the neighborhood know exactly where we are. We deal with all sorts of things related to mobile phones and staying connected with family. The street outside can be quite noisy with all the rickshaws and people going about their daily business, but it creates a lively atmosphere that we enjoy. I usually open the front shutters around ten in the morning and stay until late evening. Some days I’m just helping people with their phone recharges or fixing small hardware issues with their devices. It’s the kind of place where neighbors stop by just to say hello or ask for a quick bit of advice about a new gadget. Chandan Nagar is a tight-knit community, and being in area 4 means we see the same people almost every single day. The shelves are filled with different cables, covers, and small electronics. It’s not a fancy corporate store with air conditioning; it’s just a local shop where we try to be as helpful as we can. Sometimes the internet connection is slow or the power flickers, and we just have to be patient. I keep a small wooden stool outside for when it’s quiet and I want to sit and watch the street. It’s a simple life running a shop here.
