Sahyadri Stores

We’ve been running Sahyadri Stores for quite a while now. Our shop is located at number 393 in the Sayanikatan Building. It sits right on Station Road in Mangalwar Peth, Kalupur. Most people find us because we are directly opposite the Siddhi Vinayak Building. It is a very busy area with people always rushing to catch their trains or heading home after a long day of work. The shop itself is not very large, but we try to fit everything people might need inside. Sometimes the shelves get a bit dusty and the floor needs a good sweep because of all the foot traffic from the street. We open up early in the morning, usually when the first few commuters are walking past. It can get quite loud with the horns honking outside and people shouting. We know most of the neighbors and the other shopkeepers around here. We just sell basic goods and household items. Nothing fancy. My family helps me out during the busy hours in the evening. We have some old wooden counters that have been here since we opened. Sometimes the light flickers a bit, but we are used to it. It’s just a regular part of life in this corner of Kalupur. We don’t have any big signs or fancy lights. People just know we are here. It’s a bit of a squeeze when more than three people are inside at once, but we make it work.
