Sahyadri Speciality Hospital

Our location is at 30 C Erandwane, right on the famous Karve Road. If you’ve spent any time in Pune, you know Karve Road is almost always humming with vehicles and people. Sahyadri Speciality Hospital is right in the thick of it. The building at 30 C is where we all gather to work. It’s a tall building and from the upper floors you can see the whole sweep of the road. It gets quite noisy outside with the horns and the buses, but we have thick windows to keep it mostly quiet inside. We don’t go in for any promotional talk. We just have our jobs to do and we get on with them. The Erandwane area is a good place to be because everything is so accessible. We have a lot of different departments spread across the floors. You spend a lot of time waiting for the elevator or taking the stairs if you’re in a hurry. The staff is usually busy moving from one room to another. We have a small canteen where we get our coffee and talk about things other than work for a few minutes. It’s a very human environment. We aren't perfect, sometimes a lightbulb flickers or a door squeaks, but we fix things as we go. It’s just a group of people working together on Karve Road. That’s really all there is to it. We keep things moving and wait for the evening rush.
