We’ve been here at Arekere Gate for a good while now, right in Sammer Plaza on Dukirkline. It’s a busy spot and the dust from the road keeps us on our toes, but that’s just how it is when you’re dealing with tyres all day. People pull in because they’ve hit a pothole or their tread is looking a bit thin. We spend most of our time out front checking air pressure or lugging heavy spares around. It’s physical work and our hands are usually covered in black rubber marks by noon. The shop isn't fancy. We have stacks of tyres piled up and some old chairs for people to sit on while they wait. Sometimes the rain makes everything a bit messy, but we keep going. The neighbors at the plaza know us well, and we see the same faces every morning when the tea stall opens up. It’s not a complicated setup. We just look at what’s wrong with the wheel and fix it. Some days are packed with trucks and bikes, other days it’s just a few locals stopping by to chat while we rotate their wheels. We don't have a big office or anything, just the workspace and the tools we need to get the job done. It’s loud because of the traffic on the main road, but you get used to it after a week. That’s just life here at Sahara Tyres.
