We’ve been operating out of Dhayari Khumbhar Wada 72/8 for a while now and the neighborhood has changed quite a bit. It’s a busy little pocket of the city and we fit right in with the rest of the shops. Our kitchen isn't very large so things can get a bit tight when we have a lot of orders going at once. You can usually hear the sound of pans clanking and someone shouting out an order over the noise of the stove. We don't have a big marketing team or anyone to write fancy stuff for us, it's just a few of us making food every day. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint but we spend most of our time focusing on the cooking instead of the decor. Most people find us by word of mouth or because they live right down the street in the Khumbhar Wada area. We get the vegetables from the market early and try to get everything prepped before the lunch rush starts. It’s a lot of standing on your feet and dealing with the heat from the burners. Some days are faster than others and we might run out of things earlier than expected. We just try to do what we do without making a big fuss about it. If you walk past 72/8, you’ll probably smell whatever is on the stove that afternoon.
