Sadashiv Deshmukh

I run things here under the name Sadashiv Deshmukh at Balaji Palace in Shukrawar Peth. We are located at 361/7, which is a spot we have occupied for a long time now. It is a quiet enough place inside the office, even if the Shukrawar Peth area can get a bit hectic outside during the peak hours. This isn't a big company with hundreds of employees or anything like that. It is just a small operation where we handle our daily business tasks. The office is tucked away in the building and is filled with old books and files we have collected over the years. Most people who come by are locals or people who have known our family for a long time. We don't go in for flashy decorations or expensive furniture. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but they hold a lot of memories for us. I spend a lot of time at my desk just keeping up with the paperwork and talking to visitors. It is a predictable routine, but it suits us very well after all this time. Shukrawar Peth has a lot of history, and we feel like a very small part of that local story. Sometimes we sit out front and watch the people go by when things are a bit slow. We don't have a fancy mission statement. We just do our work and try to be helpful to anyone who knocks.
