Sadanand Kadam

My name is Sadanand Kadam and I’ve been around Kalewadi Pimpari for a long time now. Most people here know me just as Sadanand. I started this small place in Pune because I needed to make a living and I didn't want to travel too far from home. The shop isn’t very big and sometimes the paint on the walls looks a bit old, but it works for what we do. I usually get here around nine in the morning after having some tea. The traffic on the main road can get pretty bad these days so I prefer walking if the sun isn't too hot. My desk is usually covered in papers and files because I’m not the best at keeping things tidy right away. I don't have a big team of people working for me, just a couple of guys who help out when things get busy. We don't do any big advertising or anything fancy like that. People just find us by word of mouth or they see the sign when they're passing through Pimpari. Some days are slow and we just sit and talk about the cricket scores or the weather, but other days we are running around trying to finish everything on time. It’s a simple life and I like it that way. I don't plan on moving or changing much. If you’re ever in Kalewadi, you’ll probably see me sitting near the door.
