You can find S Mobile Shoppee over in Uttam Nagar, specifically inside the Krishna Industrial Estate in the Gorwa area of Vadodara. Being in an industrial estate means we see a lot of people who work in the nearby factories and units. They usually drop by during their breaks or after their shifts are over. We deal with all the usual mobile stuff, like fixing screens, selling covers, or helping someone figure out why their battery is dying so fast. The shop isn't very large, but we make use of every inch of space we have. There are always phone parts and tools scattered on the workbench in the back. It’s a bit dusty because of the industrial surroundings, but we try to keep the display cases clean at least. People come to us because we are right there where they work. We don't use any fancy sales talk. If a phone is broken and can't be fixed, we just say so. Most of our day is spent hunched over small screws and circuit boards. Sometimes the network in this building is a bit spotty, which is funny for a mobile shop, but we manage. It’s a straightforward business. We open up, take in the repairs, sell a few chargers, and head home when the industrial estate starts to quiet down for the night. It’s just regular work for us every day. It is what it is.
