S Mahipal Steel

S Mahipal Steel is located at J-7 in the Bhosari J Block MIDC area. This is a real industrial zone, so it’s all about metal and machinery around here. We handle a lot of steel, mostly heavy stuff that needs a bit of muscle to move. The warehouse is big and has that cold, metallic feel to it. We have cranes and some equipment for moving the larger pieces. It’s not the kind of place you come to see a pretty display. It’s dirty, there’s grease on the floor, and everyone is usually wearing heavy boots. We spend the day loading trucks and checking off inventory lists. The MIDC can be a bit confusing with all the lettered blocks, but J Block is quite well known. We deal with other businesses mostly, people who need raw materials for their own manufacturing. There’s no air conditioning, so we just leave the big shutters open to get a breeze. When the machines are running, you can't hear yourself think. We just get on with the work. It’s a lot of physical labor and keeping track of tons of steel. We don't have a marketing team or anything like that. We just focus on getting the steel out the door to the people who need it. It’s simple, tough work.
