S A Borgaonkar

Our spot is at 53 Bibwewadi, within the G I D C Estate. We are specifically in the Uma Shankar Society, which is quite near Mahesh Society. Being in an industrial estate like Bibwewadi means things are a bit different than a regular shop. S A Borgaonkar is where we handle our daily operations. There is a lot of noise from the nearby units and the sound of trucks moving goods. Our space is functional. We have a main area for working and a small corner where we keep our records. It can get quite warm in the afternoons, especially in the middle of the estate. We’ve been here for a good while, so we know the other business owners around the society. Most of our day is spent dealing with the technical side of things and making sure everything is running on time. We don't have any fancy decorations on the walls, just the necessary tools and equipment. People come to see us because they know where we are and what we do. It’s a very practical environment. Sometimes we have to move things around to make room for new materials, and the floor is rarely perfectly clean. That is just how it is in this part of town. We just focus on the work at hand and keep things moving. It’s a simple, hardworking atmosphere every single day.
