My name is Nilesh Vilas Chaudhari and this is our restaurant business. We are located over at Dhara Icon, which is right opposite Sentosa here in Pune. Our office address is actually up on the 19th floor in A/1901 but the real work happens where the food is. It’s a bit of a strange setup having the office so high up but that’s just how the building was laid out. We spend a lot of time looking out at the traffic on the main road. The area near Sr No. 60/2/1 is growing fast and there are always new buildings going up around us. It makes things a bit dusty sometimes. We have a small staff and we all pretty much do a bit of everything. I might be doing the books one hour and then helping out in the back the next. It’s not a fancy life but it’s what we do. The commute can be a bit long depending on the traffic near the highway. We try to keep the place clean and simple for whoever walks in. There is no big marketing team behind us or anything. It’s just us running the show day to day. We’ve had some long days where things don’t go right but you just have to keep moving. Most of the people who come in are locals or folks driving past to go somewhere else. It is a busy life.
