We are located at Appa Balwant Chowk, which everyone in Pune knows is the place to be if you’re looking for books or dealing with heavy traffic. Our office is on the third floor of the Nutan Classic building, right on Kelkar Road in Narayan Peth. Getting up here involves a bit of a climb, but once you’re inside, it’s a lot quieter than the street below. The chowk is always buzzing with people and vehicles, and sometimes the noise drifts up even to the third floor. We’ve been here for a bit, and our space is filled with the usual office stuff—cables, phones, and a lot of paper. We do communication work, which mostly means we spend our time on the phone or responding to emails. It’s a practical setup, nothing fancy or decorated for show. We have a small window that looks out over the rooftops of Narayan Peth, which is nice when you want to take a minute to stop staring at the monitor. Lunch is usually brought from home and eaten at the desk, though sometimes we head down to one of the local spots if we’re craving something specific. The building has that old Pune charm, meaning the hallways are a bit narrow and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint. We don’t mind it much because it’s where we do our thing every day. It’s just a normal workplace with normal people trying to do their jobs.
